I arrived in Big Sur at the age of seven. Big Sur was still an undiscovered wild place during the bohemia era of Henry Miller. My parents were internationally recognized artists, creating fine art silkscreen prints, serigraphs. Having the pleasure of growing up without television, in an artistic family, my eye was trained from an early age to see the world as a painter. For the last 15 years I have created photos of the rugged Big Sur Coastal Light, capturing the magic and rendering into a photo-painting this ever changing shimmering light.
